Well Woman Yoga Therapy

- Womb Yoga

Womb Yoga is a practice specifically designed for women. A practice deeply rooted in the knowledge of the cyclic nature of feminine energy, this practice compliments the cycles in both our internal and external worlds.

Each week brings a different phase of a woman's menstrual cycle, well woman womb yoga classes are planned with the awareness of these cycles, we will flow through a sequence of postures to support the energies of the feminine cycle, supporting us to a deeper connection to ourselves, our bodies, emotions and yoga practice. We will constantly be working with the elements of nature based on Chinese medicine and the meridian system to support and heal through asana practice & movement reflecting that we are ever changing & ever growing bringing us to an understanding that these ebs and flows can be nurtured both on and off our mats, honouring the feminine energy and ultimately bringing us into a more balanced and accepting state of being.

Embodied Feminine Flow Yoga

Embodied Feminine Flow Yoga is a Lunar Inspired Practice.

Drawing inspiration from many schools of teaching - Hatha yoga, Kundalini yoga, Tantra yoga, Taoist Arts and Chi Gong all with the intention to honour the Lunar Cycles both externally and internally.

Hatha Yoga is the practice of balancing mind & body through Asana (poses) Pranayama (breathing) and Relaxation.

Each movement is guided by the breath which naturally guides you into a medative state of being.

Moon Hatha is a grounding sequence of postures, movement, stillness, breath & meditation. Focusing on the moon energy of spaciousness, stillness and self reflection this practice offers the opportunity to become fully present within your body as your slowly move into a deep relaxation.

Embodied Feminine Flow offers a space to drop out of the busyness of your daily thoughts and fully into your body, we will move through an embodied yoga practice followed by deep relaxation.

This practice offers an opportunity to disconnect from the hectic pace of life and helps prepare the mind and body for a deepened awareness.

Kundalini Yoga, Chi Gong and Tao Arts are practices designed to work at an energetic level connecting to the meridian system in the body to access chi/prana which is your life force energy, the constant moving, flowing and breathing enables the body to detox and release energetic blockages that may be causing imbalances, disconnection or low energy.

The intention of this practice is to move to heal, so you may become more connected to self, the environment and others. The body is a physical reference point by which we can learn a lot about our lives. Within the practice we move the body to discover and learn and engage our mind to be a facilitator of our personal growth.

Free movement is a creative, embodied movement practice for our current times. It is rooted in the understanding of how change happens. Its intention is to help you to access more of the physical and emotional intelligence that’s inside you through bringing awareness to the way you move, feel and think.'

Embodied Free Movement is an invitation for personal empowerment, where the flow is free and intuitively lead by our own body. This practice is about finding freedom in movement, freedom in your mind, and freedom in your spirit.  It's experimentation. It's exploration. Sessions are a conscious dance experience - a time to let go and be moved. There is no set choreography and you are invited to explore, be creative and "play" your way through the session.

The intention of the practice is to move to heal, so you may become more connected to self, the environment and others.  The body gets is a physical reference point by which we can learn a lot about our lives. In the dance we move the body to discover and learn and engage our mind to be a facilitator of our personal growth.

Whatever your level of experience, age or condition, conscious movement practice is a force for creative expression and mindfulness in day to day life.

Often, all it takes is a little encouragement to feel the music, get moving and trust the dance that’s inside you.
